Anchorage, Alaska

The trip from Denali to Anchorage was as beautiful as anything we have seen.  Words cannot describe what we saw.  My camera can't either. The weather was wonderful.  82 degrees.  It was 48 degrees in the Denali Park.

Boone is enjoying the view of the mountains too.  He spent the day before in an upscale kennel.  It was a beautiful log cabin way off the road, hidden by a secluded lake.  The chamber of commerce lady told us about the place. There was no advertising or signs.  You wouldn't believe how we network to find out where things are and what is available.  They don't believe in signs up here.  They don't use billboards and such.

Stopped here to eat our tuna fish sandwiches.  We did not make any pictures in Anchorage.  We stayed over night and left.  We planned on 5 nights. Our campsite was literally on a train track.  The trains went by all night blowing their whistles and everything else.  We got our money back set out for Homer.  Anchorage was a nice town though.

This noteworthy picture is for my non-conservative friends.  And you know who you are.  Wasilla is a very pretty place.  It is on a lake.
